Seasonal Events in Carlsbad

- Starting off the year is the
San Diego Marathon, which
is held in Carlsbad.

- March
- Running. Carlsbad 5000, a 5 Km. race, is in March.
- Flowers.
Around March and April,
the ranunculus and other
multi-color flowers are in bloom off of I-5 and are a major tourist attraction.
The bird of paradise was first developed commercially here
and is the city's official flower.

- Spring Fair.
Carlsbad Village Street Faire is held the first Sunday in November and May.
It is the largest single day street fair in California.
It's held on Grand Ave., one block north of Carlsbad Village Dr.

is held in August at La Costa Resort & Spa.
- Art. The Summer Art Festival is held in July
and the Fall Art Festival in late October.

at Holiday Park.
